The Garden House Hospice has started the celebrations of the 30th anniversary of its foundation. The services provided by the Hospice to its community have greatly expanded in this time. Raising money to continue this activity is a continuous activity requiring the raising of at least £5 million annually.
The official opening kicked off at the Letchworth shop with a visit from the Pearly Queen of Borough and the Pearly King of Royal Kensington, both clad in their full regalia. This was followed by them visiting the Hospice to meet the staff and residents. Hitchin Camera Club member David Leedham was on hand to capture both events for the Hospice and some of his images are shown below.
