Hitchin Camera Club members were out in the mud on Saturday to capture the action of over 600 brave participants as they battled around the course at Knebworth House.
The course had to be amended to cope with the affects of the bad weather with the ground heavily sodden and the streams running much deeper than normal. None of this dampened the enthusiasm with many people throwing themselves into the mud and water holes. Team spirit and support helped everyone to get through and over all of the obstacles.
Steve Granger, David Radford, David Leedham, Gordon De Sousa and Terry Linton were joined by Lee Paine in donning the Hi Viz vests and getting amongst the action. It was good to meet up with noted sports photographer Peter Milsom again.
A great day sharing the sheer joy of all the team who organised the event and those who took part.
