As many of you will know over the past few years we’ve run a promotional event in the town square as a way to let people know who we are and what we do!
We ran another one this Saturday, the last day of August, and had lots of attention with many people stopping to enjoy our photos, chatting to us about their photography and sharing their stories. We also had quite a few who were really interested in the club and who said they’ed come along and give us a go.
We are of course always keen to grow the club membership, so if you’ve got a friend or family member who’s shown an interest in improving their photography then simply invite them along.
Many thanks to Gareth, Lee, Terry, Jo, Simon, Dave and Jeremy who helped ferry items from Christchurch down to the town square and back, and gave up their Saturday to help promote the club.
DON’T FORGET….
… Camera club re-starts on the 12th September with our usual introduction to the club, updates on the forthcoming season, and this year in the second half of the evening Jeremy will be talking about our Summer Event to Sharpenhoe Clappers for Butterfly photography and I’ll be talking about the importance of back-ups and some strategies to keep your images safe.
