Something Borrowed

The following ideas have been recycled from visits arranged by the Letchworth Arts and Leisure Group’s ‘Photography Out and About’ group.

Cambridge Town CentreIMG_2472_edited-1
Lots of opportunity in the architecture of the colleges (most have entry fees), riverside scenes, street photography, etc.

Public transport or use one of the Park and Rides.

Stotfold Mill holds a Steam Fair and Country Show in May each year, and a Working Steam Weekend in October which focuses on agricultural and other working machinery.  A family day out as well as a great photography opportunity.

Visit www.stotfoldmill.com for full details.

IMG_3036Henry Moore Studio and Gardens – Perry Green
The Henry Moore Studios & Gardens comprise over 60 acres of grounds, showing the artist’s iconic work against the landscape he created. You can also take a tour of the Moore family’s home and the beautiful gardens created by Irina Moore. Our studios give you the chance to see behind the scenes and appreciate how Moore’s sculptures – large and small – were created.

There is a new visitor centre for summer 2016 where you can enjoy refreshments in the new cafe or find art books and exclusive gifts in the shop.

Visit www.henry-moore.org/pg for full details.
