As many of you know within Hitchin Camera Club as well as our normal memberships we also have a small number of Lifetime or Honorary members. Honorary memberships are bestowed on club members who have made an exception contribution to the club or to the world of photography.
Following a recommendation from one of our members, the committee agreed that a Lifetime membership was order for Maija in recognition to her work in photography and particularly her work to preserve some old wet printing techniques including Brom-oil and Polaroid lift. I’m sure many of you will remember the presentations Maija gave the club on those subjects.
