The end of April and beginning of May is the time to shoot Blue Bells, and our local Blue Bell woods are a great place to do it.
As usual for a Summer Event we’ll be asking you to meet at the venue which in this case is Hitchwood near Preston.
If you’ve not been there before there’s a small car park, (so again I’d recommend a car share) but there is also some road-side (or rather verge-side) parking.
Getting there
- Go south on the B656 Codicote road from Hitchin
- After you pass the Rusty Gun pub look for the next RIght turn, which will be the B651 signposted Whitwell
- Turn right onto the B561 and follow the road for about 1/2 mile
- You’ll see the car park on the right and the turning to the right which is Hitchwood Lane
The entrance and trail is immediately opposite the car park.
