Our last summer event before we re-convene for the 2019-2000 season (which starts on the 12th September @7:45 in Christchurch, Hitchin) will be a photo walk around Baldock. As usual we’ll be adjourning to a pub (probably the White Lion) around 9:00 PM for a refreshing drink and to review the evening.
Divine Light
Like previous photo-walks one of our members (probably our chairman Andy) will lead us along the high street, highlighting a number of different photo opportunities, including the 13th Century St Mary’s church, and the Art Deco façade to the Tesco’s superstore (former film processing laboratory, hosiery factory and during WWII parachute factory.
As normal the summer events are free and although visitors are always welcome to attend the “Summer Events” since this evening follows the Club’s promotional event in Hitchin town square on Saturday the 31st August they will be particularly welcome to come along and meet some of the members.
