Photo Walk – Ashwell

Andy    December 18, 2021

During the Christmas break we often try to organise a photo-walk to allow our members to get a little fresh air and exercise after the excesses of Christmas, and of course to try out any new new toys Father Christmas brought them.

This year is no exception, so we’ll be going to Ashwell for a walk around the village.

When – Wednesday 29th December
When (exactly) – 10:30 AM
Where – Ashwell
Where (exactly) – Meet on the High Street near “Rhubarb & Mustard”

Within Ashwell you’ll find lots of interesting old buildings and some really nice views of the village. Our aim will be to go for a bit of a wander and check-out the churches (don’t forget one of the changing competition subjects for next season is “Religious Buildings”), the public garden (where you’ll find the cat bench) and of course the spring where you’ll find the famous stepping stones.

Afterward they’ll be the option for coffee and cake at “Rhubarb and Mustard”, who have the best flapjack…. EVER! or of course a sneaky pint in the Rose and Crown.

As always, if you need a lift, or if you are able to offer a lift please arrange that yourselves via the What’s App.

Why not check out my images from my recent trip to inspire you!
