As usual for an Assignment night 6 weeks before this event (in this case on 28th November) our chairman will given 2 assignment topics to shoot, and all we need to do is shoot up to 6 images that represent those subjects.
On the night we’ll show the photos on the screen in a random order, and we’ll the photographer to say a few words about the photo before we allow comments. This is a great opportunity to try something different, to get feedback on your images or to ask for help.
As always the subjects will have been chosen to give lots of scope for interpretation, and you are positively encouraged to put your own spin on the subjects.

Here you need to take images which feature “cubes”! Although we’ll be happy to accept any 3 dimensional shape with 6 faces!

From the French meaning “against the light” for this subject we’ll be asking you to shoot images where you’re shooting into or towards the light giving lots of possibilities silhouettes, rim lighting, shadows and of course rays of light.
