I’m sure many of you will be pleased to hear that Maija McDougal FRPS is still continuing to (if you’ll excuse the pun) develop her photography and recently took the following image of her living room.
This image is unusual because it wasn’t taken with a camera as such but with a 7″ X 5″ magnifier, which can also be used as a camera.
As you may remember we awarded Maija Lifetime Membership of the the camera club at the end of last season in recognition of her contribution to photography, especially for her work in bromoil and with Polaroids (See more details here https://www.hitchincameraclub.org/2019/05/03/lifetime-membership-for-maija-mcdougal-fprs/).
I’m sure you’ll all be pleased to hear that Maija is well, although unfortunately now she is having trouble with her eyesight, however Dave and Vanessa Martin, and Simon Maddision and his wife are helping to look after her.
