As you all know within Hitchin Camera Club we have a tradition of recognising and celebrating our members’ successes in the wider world of photography. I’m therefore particularly pleased to announce that Dave Martin had a 2 successes in the First ever Salon of Photography in Watford last year.
Not only did Dave’s image of the West Pier in Brighton, win a Gold Medal in the monochrome competition, but it them went on to be Overall Winner of the Salon!
The competition featured over 500 images from both the UK and overseas, and the quality of entries was praised by the organisers and the adjudicator. As part of the competition a donation will be made to The Multiple Sclerosis Society.
