Muddy Mayhem 2019

Andy    February 28, 2019

Bright sunny weather, and the possibility of taking photos of people getting hot, sweaty and most importantly muddy was all the encouragement needed for a group of Hitchin Camera Club photographers to travel to Knebworth house to shoot this year’s Muddy Mayhem.

Armed with cameras and HiViz jackets Lee, Steve, Martin, Jeremy and Toby set out to capture the fun of the day, hopefully without getting too muddy themselves.

We’ve just received the following from The Garden House Hospice

Dear Hitchin Camera Club,
I just wanted to say a big thank you on behalf of the hospice for all of the hard work that the camera club crew took.
Their [sic] some really fantastic shots and they have really captured the spirit of the event and the emotions in the faces of those who took part.
They are now up online on FB, starting to upload as we speak!
If you are keen for any other events coming up then The Great Hertfordshire AONB Marathon is taking place on Sunday 2
nd June this year. It will be over Pegsdon and Barton Hills, and the runners will go to the summits of the main hills too, with those spectacular views of the Beds and Herts areas down below!

Thank you again Terry and to all that helped 😊

Jake Amos – Mass Events Manager

As you can see it looks like they had a great day…
Look out for new photos appearing here soon

Hitchin Camera Club works closely with the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth and a number of of other charitable organisations. If you’d like to take part in a future event just let Andy, Terry or one of the other committee members know!
