Hitchin Camera Club is sad to announce that David Ockenden member of Hitchin Camera Club and former Chairman passed away last week after an illness.
I’m sure many of the older members of the club will remember David who had been a member of Hitchin Camera Club from the 1980’s. During his membership David served the club well holding the role of Chairman and Programme Secretary at various times. I personally remember David opening the club’s meetings and running the raffle when I first joined the club, and I also remember taking over the reins from him as Chairman a few years ago.
For those who would like to attend his funeral will be at St Mary’s Church in Hitchin 21st November 2018 at 14:30, and refreshments will be available afterwards at the priory.
Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
