The Garden House Hospice held a fire walk fundraiser on Friday 2nd November at the Needham House hotel in Little Wymondley. Before the fire walk, the participants took part in a seminar that included a glass walk and an arrow break. Using a 27 inch wooden hunting arrow, one end of the arrow is placed at the soft, supple part of the participants throat, the other end against a hard surface. The goal is for them to bend and then snap the arrow in half, with no damage to themselves.
The fire walk is a short barefoot walk across a fire measuring 1200 degrees Fahrenheit.
Club members, Gordon de Sousa and Toby Scott attended the evening and produced a number of images capturing the events for the Hospice.
