One of our members has kindly pointed out that we forgot to mention that the deposit (or full amount) must be paid in cash, and that personal cheques are not acceptable. Please can you ensure that when reserving your slot with Rob you pay him in cash.
Christmas Meal
With a nip in the air, and the leaves turning to 
their golden hues we know Autumn is well upon us, which of course therefore means the shops are full of Christmas goodies, and the club is planning it’s Christmas Social. The Hitchin Camera Club takes a break over the festive period, with our last meeting of the year being our Christmas Social on the 14th December.
This year we’ll be going to The Orange Tree, on the Stevenage Road, and have choice of either;
- 2 Course menu, for £20.95*
- 3 Course menu for £24.95*
*This includes £2 each towards the tip.
Once again Rob Weavers has kindly offered to organise this for us, and has even arranged for a free glass of Prosecco on arrival!
For new members to Hitchin Camera Club, our social evening is extended to your wives / partners / boyfriends, girlfriends etc, so it’s not strictly an exclusive member only event, and our traditional format for the evening is that you pay for your meals in advance, then buy your own drinks from the bar in the evening.

If you’d like to come along you need to let Rob know your meal choices and give him either a £10 deposit per person, or ideally the full cost of your meal.
