Earlier this year Roger Hance gave an interesting presentation showing his work and in particular his photos of various Tough Guy events. Following on from this the Club made contact with the Garden House Hospice and were invited to send along a number of photographers to attend their “Muddy Mayham” event at Knebworth house in March.
The event was fully booked with around 800 runners taking part in the 5 Km run. Needless to say there were opportunities for the runners to get wet and muddy, and Steve, Gavin, Marcus, Terry and Andy were there to capture the action.
We’ll be sharing the following selection of our images with the Garden House Hospice and hope to get an invite their Colour Run in July.
If you’d like to see some of Roger’s images, why not visit his website www.rogerhancefrps.com.
UPDATE – Email from Cathy White of Garden House Hospice
I just wanted to say thank you very much for sending these pictures through, they are fantastic! There are some great shots of people getting very muddy but smiling. Please may I ask that our thanks be passed to everyone at Hitchin Camera Club who gave up their time to came along and support our very first Muddy Mayhem.
I look forward to working with you again on another event soon.
