The AGM for the 2015-16 season was held on April 26th and received a good turn-out.
As usual there were reports from the Chairman, Treasurer, Programme Secretary and competition secretary. During the Treasurer’s report the annual subscriptions for the 2016-17 season where discussed, along with a change to the visitor rule, to allow more flexibility but to ensure membership continues to be an attractive proposal.
Rafe Abrook and Simon Madison stepped down from the committee but Steve Granger, Rob Weavers and Jeremy Lintott joined the committee as normal committee members.
Following on from Adrian Stone’s presentation earlier in the year, the chairman asked for suggestions for tutorial night subjects. A number of suggestions were received falling into 3 or 4 categories, and series of 4 tutorials are being created to address the most popular subjects.
The evening rounded off with the presentation of a number of trophies, including the first time the New Member’s trophy was presented.
