The informal fortnightly Thursday meetings over the summer break are intended to allow members to take photographs and to meet in convivial surroundings afterwards for a drink. People normally start to arrive early evening to take photographs in the surrounding area and then adjourn to the pub from about 9pm although there is no guarantee that anyone will be there! You may like to check with others as to when they may be arriving, if you can share a car and whether they intend to take some photographs first.
