Hitchin Camera Club takes a summer break, but with the summer coming to a close we’ll soon be re-starting our regular Thursday evening meetings.
The first meeting of the season this year will be on Thursday 14th September, starting at 7:45 at our usual location the Silverbirch Room in Christchurch, Bedford Road, Hitchin. (Click here to find us)
During the opening meeting various club officers will;
- Tell our new and potential members about the club
- Give an update on what’s been going on
- Let you know what’s planned for this season
There will of course also be the opportunity to pay your subscriptions (see here for the 2017-18 rates). Although to save time on the evening, you can pay in advance via Bank transfer (look out for the email coming soon).
Following last years success of having a presentation as part of the opening night we’ll be asking a number of members to speak about 2 of their favourite images. This will not only allow us to show case some of the excellent work we produce, but allow us to get an incite into how and why the photographer took the shot they did.
